Manifesto
Half of everything in my closet was either bought from a thrift shop, handed down from someone, or made by me.
Some of my clothing I earned from doing work, for example, as payment for working in a woman’s clothing shop in Woodstock for the day, she gave me a really nice and warm hat.
The stuff handed down to me from my mom is the best. Like a scarf from the MET and a pair of super warm gloves.
I love to make cloths too, especially hats. I sold them for a while at a shop in Phoenicia, Gateway to Tibet, and they sold like mad.
You can find more than just great used clothing. like kitchenware, instruments, anything
The whole point I’m trying to make is that you shouldn’t throw something out just because its ‘out of fashion’ or old. If we all started recycling more than just cans and bottles, we may find there is a lot less waist in the world. Think about how many times a day you throw something out, if you never have, keep tally for a day or two, you might shock yourself.
